While I was in Korea, I took too many pictures and so here they are. The oldest picture (since I came to Korea) is at the very bottom and the newest one is near the top.

I noticed many cultural and behavioral differences from that of Japan. Here are some examples:

Walking on the streets is very scary because the drivers do not consider people and only look for the green light. Pedestrians take extra precautions in this country. Even walking on the sidewalk is somewhat dangerous, as motorcycles are allowed to drive on them!

Koreans are not as polite as the Japanese. One of my friends jokingly replied that "it means the Koreans are 'normal' people unlike the Japanese" in accordance with the attitude of a regular person.

Many elderly people on the other hand are kinder than those found in Japan.

Older people in Korea (seldom the youth) tend to brag about various things.

There are many Koreans that speak Japanese and there are also many Japanese tourists in this country because the two are so close. Furthermore most vendors speak enough Japanese to sell their goods. Also everywhere I go there are people I don't know speaking Japanese (in every city I went to, all around the cities).

Many middle school kids hang out at the subway stations and are very rude.

Koreans use steel bowls, cups, and chopsticks! The chopsticks were so heavy that there needs to be an "Adjusting to Korean Chopsticks" class.
